A while back I read a book called the The Sexual State of the Union" by Susie Bright. It was a fun read. I was tickled to run across her website today. I only went to the front page, but look forward to exploring it on my own time. (HINT: don't follow this link at work. Her main topic is sex. The IS people might not understand you're just comfortable with your sexuality. :-) )

Hey! Who else saw the MIR last night? The view itself was kind of anti-climatic, but still seeing an object in space that houses human beings gave some hope that we will get off this rock someday. (Hopefully during my lifetime).

This link is a little old now, but with Edison on the verge of declaring bankruptcy, it might be time to start discussing alternatives. This particular one is a device that combines fuel cell technology with solar. If I could get them for a resonable cost I'd give them a try. Found this link this morning. It is some of the worlds most famous historical pictures re-created in a sims like format. Kind of creepy but definitely worth a look. I found them disturbing in their simplicity.
