The hockey team kicked butt this weekend. Off to a great 3-0-0 start. Come on Dirk let's get those stats put together.
Wow! What a weekend! We moved into the new house. Thanks to everyone who helped and came to visit. Check out the lights in the front supplied by the Zuccos. Happy holidays everyone. I'll post some pictures as I get them back from the photo labs. (I know I need a digital camera)
Okay i stumbled across this today. It's a bit of an alternative look at the holiday season. Not that I think this viewpoint has any more of an accurate claim on reality than any other religion. It still is an interesting read. You can add Wiccan to your list of religions that have some major event around this time of year. Does any one else find that curious?

Hey we got the house! HAHAHA. We are land barons...you must tithe or die. HAHAHA. (Gotta get started on my xmas decorations for next year if I'm going to be able to compete with my dad)
A couple of new graphics today...I'm tickled by useless graphics like these. They don't fit really but they look cool. At the top of the screen that is Adrienne's business logo on fire. And next to it...drag your mouse cursor over the title of the page...oooooooo.... :-). Fun little java applets. Thanks to Joe for setting me in the right direction to find these...

I started updating a couple more sections of the website. Check out the Artwork section. I have one of Adrienne's oils and a couple of watercolors. I also updated the Connor section as well.
Got this link from Buck yesterday. It is a website that host the writings of Thomas Paine (Yeah, the revolutionary guy!) Killed a good hour of productivity. I'm struck by how well some of the issues apply today. Must have something to do with the human condition. If any of you yahoos knows of any other websites of our founding fathers I would be interested in seeing the links. This really spiked my interest in history. Maybe I'm getting old...

My Dad's Xmas lights were shown in the Sunday edition of the Star News. Also Madison won the "Best Neighborhood Effort" award. Wait until Adrienne and I unveil our creation next year. (Assuming we get the house :-P )
I added Bill and Sandy's web page to the Links section. Check it out...
I was wondering how to spot the international space station when my boss sent me these links. This link shows a graphic of all satellites. This one tells you how to spot the station using familiar constellations. I can't wait for the Eric's Bedroom module to launch...

Props to Joe for giving me the magic code for fixing my links.
Wow! I found a cool link to a news letter called "The Regarde Bien". This is published by a man who has done extensive research into the Milliken surname. Regarde Bien is the Milliken motto and means regard or look well. Who knew. Anyway check out the newsletters. It's really cool and reminds me I need to get a copy of dads birth certificate again so I can e-mail some of these people and see if they know anything more. It also has a rough of our REAL coat of arms. Ryan there is your tattoo :^)

hey FRIENDS! let me know what your web sites are so I can link up to them. You will find Jim's and Sheila's right now, but I know there are others of you out there that have sites. (Ed, Amy, etc...)
I bought a copy of Wings of Desire today from Videoflicks. Love this movie. Love the poem that runs through it. Just plain yummy. Going to have a viewing party once we get it in. Let me know if you are interested.
We had dinner last night over at Dirk and Sheila's. (Thanks again) Sheila brought out a box of old black and white and sepia pictures that she saved from being thrown away. It sparked a good discussion on material remnants of a life and the lost history of the individuals in the pictures (she had no family left). It prompted me to put a couple of black and white images I took of Adrienne back in 1989. You can find them by clicking on the "Pictures" button on the left.
